I lost my fucking phone. HOW THE FUCK DO YOU DO THAT?! AND WHERE THE FUCK IS IT. I"VE CALLED IT 20 TIMES TODAY.

10:55PM - God, let me focus

Why can't I focus on writing the Holocaust paper? I have all the info, I even color coated my notes it to make it easier. I think it has to do with footnotes. They really throw me off. You just made some amazing point and are on a roll, but no! You must stop and write a FOOTNOTE that the teacher will NEVER look up to give some stupid little man credit. Not that the credit is not deserved, but it's frustrating. By the time I finish the footnote I have lost my train of thought.

I also do not understad why I am so sleepy. I just ate a "Coffee Crisp" the last in my stash of Canadian candy. I wish the sugar would start working.

I wish I could just fast forward to decmeber 15th. Everything will be fine. Rejection letters? who cares! As long as I am rid of school for two weeks and able to do as I please.

You know what I love about Christmas? The gift baskets family friends/clients of my parents send before the actual holiday. I just found a box full of about 25 truffles in my house! It's like a little christmas present before christmas. It makes me happy.

Has anyone seen those Nissan sentra commercials where the guy lives in his car? I love him. He's cute and funny and has just the right amount of crunchiness. 

OH, So I voted to day and I realized, through voting, how I can meet John Cusack. See, they have those volunteers who sign the voters in so if I find out which district he lives in (I know where he lives so that shouldn't be too hard) and sign up to volunteer then I will meet him! I've read his blog and I know he is quite political so I know he votes.  It's the perfect plan! I won't even seem like a stalker.

So when I got home there was a bulletin for me from CVLS-the legal aide firm i interned at over the summer. As I was reading it I saw "In loving memory..."  and read that one of the interns I worked with died!  I worked with him the most. He showed me around the daley center, let me sit in on interviews, and was just and all around nice guy. I thought out of all of them he was going to be the best lawyer. I just feel so bad because he was in his 3rd year and had so much ahead of him and now he's just...dead.  I know there is nothing I can do and that I didn't even know him that well, but still it makes me sad. He was so young, Paul.

 My father is off  getting drunk with old law school chums. My only wish is that when they come home after dinner, to continue the festivities, that one of them dents the fridge.  I know his party is totally legal and all, but still it would make me happy.

I had a dream that I was russian...why do I want to be/ go to Russia so badly?

I also had a dream that I was diagnosed with some rare disease so to help me cope they put me in touch with a fellow survivor...John Cusack.  Now, I woke up before we had sex, but clearly ,we did.

Alya is on her way to France! I remember how nervous and frightened I was on the plane ride over. All I wanted was to fast forward 48 hours. After 48 hours you're not jet lagged, you feel more comfortable speaking, it isn't awkward anymore. 

I really wish this fever would go away. Actually, the dizziness more. Even this typing is making it worse. Reading makes it worse. That has forced me to sleep/ watch shitty tv for 3  days. I need to do shit, can't I get sick around winter quarter? Please, if there is a god (which i know there isn't, but still) let me be in perfect physical health for two months so I can get through regionals and college and school stuff. Then, I can be sick forever. Please?

   Today I went to a college session about the "Harvards of the north".  U ot T, Queen's, and BC at vancouver.  I like how they call themselves the Harvards of the north, yet their average gpa is 3.0-3.2 I made me feel smart/extremely stupid.



I think the canadians would like me. I like them! The men in particular.  


I'm researching hip hop songs for homecoming, this is so lame. Someone please help me.

I find it very disturbing that it is only the second week of school, yet I have fallen asleep twice already trying to do my homework. This is bad, very bad.  I feel like i'm gonna pass out in volleyball/driving home and then I get home, do my work and collapse on my bed before I do any sort of college shit.  In the back of my head I still don't realize that I'm applying to college. 


On the brighter side of things I FINALLY listned to my "back to school" cd from nina. It was wonderful, naturally.

Pre-season has started so basically summer is over.  I'm going to go over m goals and see if i made any of them. Here we go kiddies!

1. I just made $70 for babysitting a hamster. I've made some money over the summer so i think i've met this goal.

2. I so did get tan in canada! YES

3. We've had 2 so far and one on monday too, yay!

4. ugh sure? worrying is just an essential part of life, it won't go away

6. you would think I would have done them since EVERY time i speak to my parents they say "So how are those essays coming?" but no.  I have started the commonapp tho!

7. I think i became mildly obsessed with the news this summer. Esp during the lebanese/israeli war. I was hooked on CNN and the NYT. In fact, I think i'm gonna ask for a subscribiton to the NYT for my birthday

8. Let's not go there. I have got a list of some catering companies. This goal failed-shit

9.  oops i forgot about this. I still want to go to paris and learn to cook with nina for this 

10. NO, UGH! If I didn't have pre-season I would have gone.

every time i walk into home depot i get nervous. it is so large and i have absloutly no idea where anything is. i go in looking for blue bags and i am in there fo 30 mins searching the millions of 20 foot tall shelves. i don't fit in at all, i am not a tall, muscular man who builds bookshelves. No, i am th clueless girl in a sundress.

i feel so bad for george on grey's anatomy. the poor boy likes her so much and she loves shepard.
